WATER SERVICE RATES

Water service rates for all customers consist of a basic monthly charge, plus water usage charges for the amount of water actually used.  Bills are issued bi-monthly.  If two or more residences use a single meter, three-quarters (3/4) of the monthly basic charge shall be charged for each additional residence.

Definition of a residence: a single-family home, designed for year-round living.

From 0 to 10,000 gallons             $6.40 per 1,000 gallons

10,001 to 25,000 gallons             $8.40 per 1,000 gallons

25,001 or more                          $10.40 per 1,000 gallons

                                                               Park Usage          

From 0 to any amount                 $1.00 per 1,000 gallons

Definition of a Park: A publicly owned or privately owned area of land denominated as a community park and open to the public with facilities for rest, recreation and enjoyment without a charge.

Low-Income Senior Discount

Customers age 62 or older who own or rent the home where water service is provided, and whose annual household income is $30,000 or less, qualify for a discount of 25% on their monthly billed amount for usage up to 10,000 gallons; for annual household income between $30,000 and $45,000, the discount is 15%.  Proof of annual household income is required.  See the Manager for details and how to apply.
